PEACOCK RANGOLI – KEDLESTONE HALL,DERBY

Diwali celebrations in Derby working at Kedlestone Hall. Working with Surtal Arts, Diva making over the weekend and the start of a Peacock inspired rangoli installation using natural resources foraged from the Hall's parkland. CULTURE AWARD 2019

Last year my solo exhibition "Life in Colour" was at Sunderland Museum & Art Gallery from Oct 18 - Jan 19. As a result of its success, the museum was nominated for a 2019 Culture Award. The nomination meant that on Thursday 23rd May, I travelled to Middlesbrough to attend the award ceremony at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Unfortunately, the museum didn't win the North East Museum...

GIANT RANGOLI

A short film commissioned by Art Asia recording the creation of a giant Rangoli in Southampton on the 11th June 2011. Working with Art Asia I produced the largest Rangoli for the Guinness Book of Records. My work has been displayed all over the UK and she has toured with Womad Festival creating work at their various sites around the world.  ...
